156 meters off the front and 56 meters high is located one of the largest castles in the Loire Valley.
The construction of the castle was completed by Louis XIV in 1685. His important collections testify to moments of life that animated this time sumptuous home, lived for only twenty years over five centuries.
Surrounded by walls that wind for 32 miles, the estate of Chambord, currently the largest enclosed forest park in Europe, still houses a rich wildlife.
